Days slide by
tumbling one after another
adding up as a number there on the little blue page.

How many days,
how many more before again
I break down and put words with no meaning down?

There's no value
no reason to stop and read
nothing to make up for another empty day gone by.

Stuff happens
Every day, life happens
but all I do is watch helplessly as the number rises.

Been 14 days
I don't want to see 15 days
Not really the same though, I'm sorry for your time.
