I am leaving now for points North (well in a few more hours) and I am a bundle of excitement. This is the first real adventure I have had in so very long that I forgot how it felt to anticipate a trip. By this time tomorrow I will have explored a number of sites in San Francisco and surrounding areas. I will have seen the Golden Gate bridge and I will breathe a deep breath and exhale so that I don't forget that only because I exist can I enjoy the physical stimulation of such a journey. It might seem strange to you that someone might have to remind themselves of such a thing but I get lost in myself from time to time and forget to look out at the world around me. And what an incredible world it is.
